When?
Second Thursday each month at 7:30 pm.
Where?
Beatrice Taylor Hall, Wallarobba, Hornsby
Why?
A session night is designed for musicians to bring their instruments and perform their songs without the pressure of perfection in front of a paying audience. This will be especially useful to musicians who live in Sydney’s northern suburbs and thereabouts.
What’s happening?
No lights, no mixers or amplifiers. No bookings necessary. Just seating in the round, kind words of support from performers who wish to try material and maybe receive advice and support.
What’s it cost?
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk club needs to cover the costs of room hire, etc so we estimate that $5 per person for entry should be sufficient. Whether we can maintain this low fee depends on numbers and this will be reviewed over the coming months.
Tea and coffee provided. BYO everything else, maybe a small share plate?
So grab your instruments, and join us at Beatrice Taylor Hall at 7:30 on the second Thursday each month.
