Who we are

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Folk Club aims to foster folk music in the Hornsby area and surrounds. The club has been operating for more than 40 years and prides itself on its friendly and supportive atmosphere, encouraging all forms of folk music, songs, poetry as well as audience participation.

Generally our performances are held on the third Friday each month at Beatrice Taylor Hall, 25 Edgeworth David Ave Hornsby 2077 (rear of Wallarobba Arts & Cultural Centre). The nearest cross street is Sherbrook Road where you can also find parking if the Wallarobba parking area is full.

You can find us on Facebook as well, where you can comment about the shows you’ve enjoyed.

Volunteer Acknowledgement

Thanks to our small band of volunteers, HKFC can provide relatively cheap quality entertainment once a month and still pay our feature artists relatively well. We acknowledge our volunteers Barry, Pam, David, Tina, Bob, Penny, Isabelle and Peter, Kirsten, along with the many who chip in with support to set up and take down the hall each month, or with announcing, photography, website development, Facebook maintenance, etc. None of this would be possible without volunteers. Join us!

We also acknowledge the support of the NSW Folk Federation, Trad and Now, and Allied Health Clinic Waitara.
